Hear from Pro-Choice YQL’s Jenn Prosser as a panelist.
Pro-Choice YQL's education values encompass a commitment to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and empowering learning environment.
At its core, Pro-Choice YQL believes in individuals' fundamental right to autonomy over their bodies and lives. This principle extends to education, where the organization firmly advocates for a comprehensive and evidence-based approach to sexual and reproductive health education. Pro-Choice YQL recognizes that all people should have access to accurate information about contraception, safe sex practices, consent, and the full range of available reproductive options.
We emphasize the importance of teaching critical thinking skills, encouraging everyone to question societal norms and engage in informed discussions on topics such as gender, sexuality, and reproductive rights. By prioritizing open dialogue and providing resources that support inclusivity and respect, Pro-Choice YQL aims to empower people to make informed decisions about their bodies, relationships, and futures.
